Ozarks Access Point

Holistic advocacy includes an assessment of the applicant’s current life circumstances along with their legal issue(s). As resources allow, Ozarks Access Point (OAP) will help approved clients overcome personal and familial barriers to thriving, such as food, housing, or transportation insecurities or issues accessing public benefits.

As funding permits, OAP will provide holistic, sliding-scale legal representation for people with incomes at or below 300% of the current Federal Poverty Level guidelines. Please see the services and sliding scale costs document for more information.

OAP currently focuses on family law, and offers the following services:

• OAP unbundled services: providing low-cost, sliding scale limited representation tailored to the holistic needs of clients.
• OAP Collaborative Legal Integrations: providing collaborative, non-adversarial, sliding scale legal services in cases that are traditionally adversarial. Representation is limited to achieving an agreed outcome between parties to a legal dispute. Primarily focusing on lower-income persons who have family or juvenile legal issues as well as other areas of law, selectively. 
• OAP Maltreatment Registry Navigation: providing holistic sliding scale limited or full representation legal services to lower-income people most negatively affected by maltreatment investigations or findings.
